Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is of great importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy we wish to inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

1. Your contact with us

If you contact us via chat, via the contact form on the website or via e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months in order to process the request and for any follow-up questions. We do not pass on this data without your consent.

2. Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the help of the browser. They do no harm.

Cookies are an essential part of the technology of the browser you are using and help to improve your use of the website. Many cookies are necessary for the correct display of the website and also have a self-deletion date, so they are only stored for the duration of the stay (session cookies).

You can block individual or all cookies. However, this can mean that certain functions on websites can no longer be used.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and so you can allow this only in individual cases.

Deactivating cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

3. Web analysis

3a. Web analysis with Google Analytics

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043). Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the use of the website by users. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

The service is used to analyze the use of our website by visitors. This helps us to make our offer even more user-friendly and we can recognize, among other things, which pages are important for the user and which are less important.

For this purpose, Google uses page views to collect user data on the technical characteristics and activities of visitors to our website. This user data is evaluated by the software in order to create reports that can contain information about the length of stay, approximate geographical origin, the origin of the visitor traffic, exit pages and usage processes, among other things.

Further information on how Google Analytics handles user data can be found in Google's data protection provisions: https://www.google.com/analytics/learn/privacy.html?hl=en

You can prevent the collection and sending of this data to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

If IP anonymization is enabled on this website, your IP address will be truncated beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address will only be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide the website operator with other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

The web analysis service Google Analytics stores the IP address for a period of 9 months and the search query data for a period of 18 months.

The data processing takes place pursuant to the legal provisions of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Art 6 Abs 1 lit a (consent) and / or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website, as well as IT security. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymised.

Like most websites, YouTube uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website.
